What is the most straightforward way to book a yacht?

To make a reservation for a yacht, you can send an inquiry by going to the yacht's profile page, selecting the dates, and clicking on "send inquiry." You can also contact us by email or phone, and we will help you by suggesting other suitable options that match your preference. Payment can be made by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard...) with a deposit payment (40% of the total cost) at the time of booking. The balance payment (60% of the total cost) must be paid no later than 9 weeks before the arrival. You can find detailed booking and payment terms on our website.


Who owns the yacht, and who will be on the yacht during our stay?

Typically, the owner is a local resident of the area/country. When you charter a yacht, you and your group will have exclusive access to it.


What should I do if I have additional questions?

Why haven't I received a response after sending an inquiry?

We always respond to inquiries within one business day. If you haven't received a response within 48 hours, please check your junk mail. If you still can't find the email, contact us at [email protected] or by phone.


What is the maximum number of people allowed on a yacht?

Each yacht has a specified number of guests allowed onboard, and you can find all details on the yacht's profile page.


Can Charter.me assist with airport transfers?

Yes, we can help you with airport transfers and other services on the yacht through our customer service.


Is booking through Charter.me safe?

Yes, we ensure a secure booking process, and our multilingual customer service team is available before, during, and after your trip to assist you with any questions or concerns.


Do I always need to charter the yacht for a week, or are other charter periods available?

During the peak season from July to August, yachts are generally chartered for a minimum of one week. Exceptions can be made, and outside of these months, the charter period can be more flexible.


Is final cleaning required for the yacht?

Final cleaning is mandatory, and some yachts include this in the charter price. Others may charge an additional fee, which will be specified on the yacht's profile page.


What is the process for returning the yacht at the end of the charter period?

The skipper and you will inspect the yacht together at the end of your stay, and if the yacht is in good condition, the security deposit you paid on arrival will be refunded. If you paid in cash, you'll get the amount back immediately. If you paid with a credit card, the deposit will be returned within 1-3 weeks.


What is the check-in time for the yacht?

The check-in time is usually between 10:00 and 16:00 on the day of arrival, but during the low season, the skipper is often flexible and can adapt to your schedule. The check-out time is usually before 10:00, but can be flexible depending on prior communication and agreement.


Who will meet us at the yacht, and where is it located?

You will receive information about the exact location of the yacht in the marina and other important details after paying the final balance payment. Before your arrival, you will be in contact with our staff who will answer any practical details and guide you.


What is a tourist tax, and how do I know which additional costs may be added to the charter?

Tourist tax is a municipal tax paid by travellers in some countries and may be included in the charter cost or paid in cash on site
